Our Philosophy
Our core attribute is love.
Without love, a senior community is just real estate with services.
Without love, regulatory compliance is mindless, bureaucratic red tape.
Without love, the business has no soul.
Without love, the staff just have jobs.
Love is not just an idea at GoodWorks senior living communities. It’s at the core of everything we do.

My son brought me out here. He checked it out, and he really liked it. So, I came out here. I really enjoy the people that live here. They are great. And also the help because the help is wonderful. They’re right there to help you anytime you want it. They’re right there to help you anytime you want it.

They have classes here, and in the morning I go to exercise. They have BINGO. The food and the service are just great here.
It really is a comfortable place to live. I am sure glad that my son brought me down here, believe me.

The location here is excellent. Shopping. Doctor’s appointments. Anything you want to do is right here. We just love it here. They have a lot of extra activities here that you can do. The staff here is just wonderful. You can’t compare it with any other place. Oh, the food is too good.

Take the leap of faith. We didn’t know if we wanted to move—we’d been at our home for 57 years. And it was hard, we thought, to move—we should have been here years earlier. Just come and visit it. You won’t believe what you see in this place. It’s just wonderful.

Primarily, what brought me here was the memory care facility being right here. And I knew I had to come with my wife, who had Alzheimer’s. That was the prime reason. I looked at 10 different facilities around Nashville and decided on this one. Having the memory care in the same facility was a big factor. This place is all I could ever dream it would be.

Management here is unbelievable. They make you feel like it’s a big family here. And they help and support you through all the trauma you have to go through. My wife passed away. They were tremendously supportive. Like I said, it was just like family.
I mean, Sue Hall and the whole staff is immediate family. And the residents here are—we’re all friendly. It’s a pleasant place. There’s always things to do. It’s rare for a facility like this to have staff like this.

It’s classified as an independent living facility, and that’s exactly what it is. They provide things for you to do if you want to do it. But if you don’t want to, that’s fine too.
They go over and above. If you’re not where you should be, if you miss a meal, they check on you and be sure you’re okay. I recommend this very highly.

Well, the one thing my mom loves to golf, and they have a little putting green out here. And like she said, you know, she went to Bell Buckle, and they go out and have lunches. So, there’s enough for her to do. And to be real honest, that helps me, because then I don’t have to be here 24/7. They encourage the families to get involved as well, which I think is very important.

You know, she [Todd’s Mother] has the exercise in the morning. She can get her hair done here. She saw a podiatrist here. So, there’s a lot of opportunities. And, like I said, she knows when the lunches are. She can get up for breakfast if she wants. There’s a calendar—she gets a monthly calendar that has events for each day. But there’s always something to do.
